Abstract

The objective of the study – to find out teachers’ self-esteem of sense of coherence and quality of life in relation with professional activity. In the study the concept of sense of coherence is based on salutogenic theory. The research sample – 55 middle schools and high school teachers that were  distinguished creativity in professional activities and 57 not- distinguished similar skills. Fore exploratory survey has been used two methods. Hypothesis is verified using mathematical statistics – χ2 criterion. The survey data presented in this article reveals that the creative teachers’ self-esteem of sense of coherence and quality of life was a significant (p<0.05) better than non-creative colleagues. Between the sense of coherence and quality of life assessment was a strong correlation.
