Abstract
Summary
The activity concentrations of 137Cs in the edible mushrooms and berries in the Curonian Spit were determined. The possible risk of the influence of radioactive contamination on peoples health was appreciated by effective dose.
The maximum activity concentration up to 460,1±7,9 Bq/kg in the Leccinum scabrum was determined. In the berries Vaccinium myrtillus and Vaccinium vitis-idaea the activity concentrations did not exceed 10 Bq/kg. The established values did not exceed of the permissible level (600 Bq/kg).
