In order to assess rehabilitation organization specifics at Vilnius University Hospital departments: in Children‘s Hospital (CH) and in Saulutė of Druskininkai, for children with neurological diseases were retrospectively analyzed 101 patients (37 in CH, 64 in Saulutė ). In CH in the outpatient rehabilitation were observed 37 patients , for an average of 15 days, in Saulutė were observed 64 patients, for an average of 20 days. In both departments were used passive and active rehabilitation methods. Rehabilitation efficiency was evaluated by appropriate methods: Tinneti scale assessment, speech scale assessment, mobility assessment – sitting, moving, climbing stairs. Statistically significantly changes in physical and functional patients status were observed after comprehensive rehabilitation program for children with neurological diseases. Saulutė of Druskininkai and CH are working properly and effectively in accordance with the provided variety and amount of rehabilitation procedures.
