In order to assess rehabilitation organization specifics at Vilnius University Hospital departments: in Children‘s Hospital (CH) and in “Saulutė” of Druskininkai, for children with musculoskeletal diseases were retrospectively analyzed 106 patients (41 in CH, 65 in “Saulutė”). an average of 20 days. In both departments were used passive and active rehabilitation methods. Rehabilitation efficiency was evaluated by appropriate methods: dynamometry, Keitel index, pain assessment by Pain Scale, back and abdominal endurance assessment, flexibility assement, motor skills assessment. Statistically significantly changes in physical and functional patients status were observed after comprehensive rehabilitation program for children with musculoskeletal diseases. “Saulutė” of Druskininkai and CH are working properly and effectively in accordance with the provided variety and amount of procedures.
