Abstract
Sinus venosus atrial septal defects (SVASDs) are rare congenital cardiac abnormalities (5%–10% of all ASDs). They occur at the posterior aspect of the interatrial septum. In this case report we present a case of a patient with heart insufficiency and misdiagnosed SVASD. A 34-year-old man presented to emergency department after one of the implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) electrodes was observed in the left ventricle and SVASD was suspected. Patient was treated conservatively.
