Abstract
95% of women who have undergone caesarean deliveries are candidates for vaginal birth after Caesarean (VBAC)[2]. Approximately 60% of women opting for VBAC will successfully give birth vaginally, which is comparable to the overall vaginal delivery rate. The article analyses vaginal birth after prior Caesarean delivery. 20 % of women had vaginal delivery after Caesarean in Klaipeda university hospital in 2012. Mostly, this women were younger, delivered lighter newborns, hadn’t problems with hypertensia, their body mass index was normal due to women who had the repeated sectio Caesarea. Analgesia, stimulation with oxytocin in such women were rare. There were no rupture of the uterus or sever complications for mother and the fetus. So VBAC is safety and there is necessary to decrease a repeated Caesarean.
